I remember when I was taping AT40 in 1987 that WCAU-FN in Philadelphia cut the song out of that show so I immediately stopped the tape at that point where the song would be played. Luckily, it was played on the year-end countdown so I managed to tape the whole show. As for controversial, you guys merely overlooked what I think is THE most controversial song on AT40 & it happened last year. Remember Afroman's "Because I Got High"? Though it wasn't cut off where I listened to it, there were plenty of drug references in that one. It probably should've been cut out or at least edited at some point.
