I have two words for that: Format compatability. I've said it before with Don McClain's "American Pie", the issue booils down to the type of music stations currently play. If it's all current Top 40, then there is little chance of hearing America's Top Hits while some AC stations that have Hot 20/AT20 will find time to schedule America's Top Hits.
