He spreads the filly's legs wide and ties them to stakes in the ground, then, he runs off, cackling. The filly whinnies to her mother, scared, curious, confused, and straining to bring herself back to her rightful position. The mare looked around wildly, she knew what would come, she would try not to let it happen to either of them, though that was almost impossible.*
