My worry is this. Despite how much I would love to see a spinoff, I will not support it if Tribune is the one signing the tag on the whole idea. Tribune has been nothing but a disaster to every project it has touched in the Sci-Fi universe. Beastmaster went downhill, so did Earth: Final Conflict. Andromeda nearly died after Season 2 and it was lucky to get some of its fans back in Season 3, although, I don't know how. Season 3 was just as bad as the last half of Season 2 and it continued to get worse. You just don't get rid of every original crew member. That's insanely bad business decisions. Robert Hewitt Wolfe should've been with the show all the way through. He developed it. It was very stupid to let him go. And Season 5. We won't even go into that. This season has been a complete waste of money, film, television time, etc. If SciFi chooses to do something with the series, I'm all for it. Look what they have done with Battlestar Galactica. It's a masterpiece.

So, to sum up what I'm saying, I'm all for it, unless Tribune gets involved. I will not support it then, because we all know where the show would end up going: straight down the tubes.
