I wonder what fans would think of Dylan getting promoted to Admiral, the way General Hammond left the Stargate SG-1 series. There would still be a chance for Admiral Hunt to return in cameo appearances, for example, if Andromeda's new Captain called Fleet Headquarters to report a problem.
I also wonder what fans would think of a partially-restored Commonwealth Fleet. The All Systems University website at www.allsystems.org lists many different kinds of High Guard ships, but so far we've seen only a few varieties in the series. It might be interesting to show a "task force" of ships responding to a large problem, with Andromeda (of course) acting as the flagship of the fleet.
