 I think the reason some folks get upset over the fact that people say bad things about Dylan isn't because those of us who happen to like him think every should. It's because often those who don't like him aren't able to seperate the character from the actor playing him and comments take on a personal meaning which is inappropriate. We don't know the actor personally and it isn't fair to attack him. Also, it's not that people say "Dylan is acting inappropriately for a captain, in my opinion" the statements are very harsh like "Why does Dylan have to shag every blonde bimobo that comes near him, ......" The statement is more harsh and actually incorrect. Yet folks generalize one or two things and expand on them and turn them into things that never happened while using very colorful language to paint Dylan in a way that goes far beyond anything that has happened.

You and others don't care for the character and have your own favorite. Thats fine. But, this show does revolve around the character of Dylan, Kevin is the star and it is expected that Dylan will be center focused in most eps.
