In Dylans defense. How would you react if you were put in a position where you had to choose between sacraficing the mission or sacraficing your lover. If Dylan takes the plunge with Rommie he could find himself in a postion where he is forced to decide to spare her and let others die or save the others and let her die. A bad situation when it is your friend you're sacraficing even worse when it is your lover. Maybe Dylan isn't as dumb as we think.
