Hi
You actually have a wonderful website. I've been a writer for several years and have watched Andromeda from its first episode. I've always felt it suffered from too many writers in the kitchen. It started off with a wonderful arc of bringing back the Commonwealth. That, sorry to say, went miserably off course second season. The characters have been killed off and resurrected so many times the surreal ending of this past season will receive little emotion from viewers towards the characters. The characters we cared about in season one we basically don't anymore in season 4. As far as understanding the season finale is also a bit daunting. A worldship which can't even destroy an orbiting station, mythical creatures? If Dylan was more than what we've been taught it should have been hinted to by season three. It's too convenient to just toss it out there. Actually, it's bad writing and lends one to think the writers were stuck for an ending weeks earlier and added it at a 1am coffee session.
You need to respect your audience. We have brains and can follow a storyline.
I hope season five brings a plausible solution to all these turn of events. I'm somewhat disappointed but glad the show has some time to redeem and continue a storyline with an arc we can all cheer for.
Best of luck Andromeda
Warren
