I LOVED the episode. I've always found the character of Rhade interesting and enjoyed seeing more of him.
At first I thought there was a major plot hole but, are there really? Mainly it's at the end. If Rhade isn't going to kill Dylan why does he come back to the Command Deck and fight him? Then it hit me. The other Nietz on board. He HAD to go along with the plan, and make it look good. If he didn't one of the others would have gone after Dylan and maybe killed him. By doing it himself Rhade could make sure he lost and Dylan won the fight.
I'd always wondered why Rhade had warned Dylan to lock him and the other Nietz in the Brig. It didn't make sense for him to make the take over harder. Now we know it was a last attempt to stop things without having to fight Dylan.
I found it interesting that Tyr has stayed Loyal, well, ok, this is Tyr, anyway. . . he stayed loyal to Dylan but when he is with Rhade, who you think he'd have more loyalty to, as a fellow Nietz, it comes down to one of them killing the other. Any thoughts, anyone? I'm not sure on this.
Loved the relationship we get a glimpse of between Rhade and Beka. With what we see of Rhade I can see that happening.I wish we could have seen more of it.
I loved Harpers loyalty to Dylan at the end. And Dylan "loyalty" to Rhade, thinking he must have had a reason. Believing in him. Over all this whole show had a lot to do with loyalties. GREAT Ep.
