Maybe they will pick up a new bone blade sporting "uber" or something, but I still think this is bad news. KHC's char added a bit of conflict and question with Dillan's ideals and ideas hich was a major part of the storyline. Guess we will just have to wait for more info and hope for the best. Besides even the best Sci-fi shows have had similar incidents. Tasha Yar (not sure of the actress' name)left TNG halfway through season 2 (or was it 3? I don't watch it much anymore). McFadden (Crusher) as well took over a season off and was replaced by someone else, but then returned for several more seasons and 4 movies.
