Warrior Wanted

There is a warrior wanted here,
one who will fight onward with me,
knowing, no good cause is ever truly lost.
He will gather sword and ax,
defending heart and hope,
to his last breath.
When grey skies cry,
he will know, will understand:
Battles not won, are not always lost.
He will bear scars,
aching still on cold nights alone,
but he will not fear their pain.
He will take courage then,
knowing while love will often wound,
the scars are each
a story as old as creation,
moments of a live truely lived.
There is a warrior wanted here,
his quest will not be light...
there is a warrior wanted
to brave the deepest unknown,
the heart of a Queen
who would bear arms beside him.
