Subject: Did I mention I hate titles?

Evil women with scarlet lips drive old cars to work,
As plain goldfish swim about fluorescent castles in round bowls,
As the psychosomatically insane perpetuate their own dementia.
I hold a lopsided rose, the only kind I've seen,
And the clouds tonight look like sand dunes in the moonlight.
Sequinned dresses hang in musty closets awaiting employment,
As clumsy children attempt to kiss, attempt to fall in love,
As the old and lonely get older and lonelier,
And people move from sad old houses to sad new ones.
Somewhere a middle-aged man is finally satisfied with the greenness of his lawn
As his daughter spends his money at a plastic-smelling mall.
Somewhere an old horror movie flickers before a hundred people,
And only one person is really watching.
And life continues as it always has, a world full of people watching one another.
