Subject: A Revised Poem

Sometimes when you write something you look back later and find that it means something new, but needs a little revision. Here is one such piece:

People come, people go,
In everlasting river flow
Streaming in, streaming out,
This is what life is about

People come, people go,
That's the way things are, you know
River flowing North to South,
Ocean waters at the mouth

People come, people go,
And once you're gone I'll miss you so
Not as final as it may seem,
Perhaps we'll meet further downstream
