Subject: New Perception 101

"Cardboard masks of all the people I have been- thrown out like all the rusted dented god damned misery"

I could feel it building to the piece that brought tears to my eyes, and could feel the hope welling in my chest.

"I-
I've never wanted anything-
No I-
No I-
I've never wanted anything so bad.
So bad . . ."

The windows were down and the silky freshness of spring blew through me, a hope, a new beginning, the promise of summer, of warmer days. Like a foreshadowing of what I hoped lay ahead.

The will to live poured from my heart in those simple lines,"I've never wanted anything so bad."

People looked on with unreadable expressions at the sight of the girl crying in her car, smile plastered on her face, hands carelessly holding the wheel.

I was sad they didn't know. I almost wished it could be taught. (Guess it's my secret to protect.)

I've never wanted anything so bad.
