I just figured out I was playing
You don't know your own heart
Do you even have one?
Stringing me along, keeping me close with your smoothe speech
Or am I just easy?
Or desperate for love?
Do I read into you too much?
Or am I making things up in my head?
But you said you were interested . . .
You said there was no one else
I'm so confused about you
You tell me I'm closing myself off to other people, that I'm pushing everyone away
I guess I am
But I still tell you my feelings
I open up to you
But I never get that in return
You want to know everything about me
Yet you won't reveal yourself
Well, I don't play like that
It's a two way street
I'm not chasing you
You know that
But you know that, so why do you say the things you say?
I'm one of three in this little game of yours
Or is it four?
I've lost count.
(That's a bad thing.)
If you'd just tell me what was going on, it wouldn't hurt so much
At least I would know what you were thinking
