regression foreseen, tragic insight
Scarred heart seen on the hands
Continual slide in the depth of his mind
Broken down, unable to stand

Pain replayed through every dream
No downer will suffice
Demonic thoughts temporarily appease
Plauged in vision, consumed in vice

Earth must be churned to sew a seed
Release the toxins kept within
Unless purged, new life may not grow
Harboring a dead life, cannot re-begin

Forgotten as the unmarked grave
A specter in her eyes
To God and her his memory fades
This man is dead, though he never died.
