it seems, my life, i've been in love
about one thousand times
and it also seems, i've written so,
in one thousand different rhymes
perhaps my heart too easily
clouds my lonely mind
and shows my lovelorn soul
that passion it sought to find
sadly i ever pine away
loving as i love a star
and never approach, intimidated,
loving mute, and from afar
each time my passion arisen
into the closet soon 'tis shoved
for all my life i've ever been loving
but fear keeps me from ever being loved.
