The deaf ear is turned
to the child on his knees
Prayerful, Beaten, Ignored
Consumed in the drowning rain
of a falling sky.

Indifference tot he pleas
of a suffering heart
Waning, Regressing, Blinded
The father turns from the crying child
in a dismal world

Suffering from expectations unmet
Craving the intangible simplistic existence
Hoping, Searching, Falling
Pushing through an existence
where life is foreign

Alas craving the end
so a repressed spirit may be set free
Thinking, Transgressing, Dying
THoughts of suicide fill a void
in a life of control lost.
