Subject: Tree of Life

I watched a Palm tree sway in the wind today. The palms fluttered in the passing breeze. It reminded me of time. The tree was my life, gently swaying back and forth. Happiness was North, Anger was south, Love was East, and Loneliness and Depresseion were West. I saw the tree moving in each direction, like a picture book of what has happened in the past few months. A vegetative periscope into me. The individual palms reminded me of each individual day. I could see friday so clearly I almost started to cry. And then, the wind finally blew hard enough to blow a palm away, and I saw it fly into the wind. Not knowing where it is going. Not knowing what it is doing. Just knowing that it is tomorrow.
