Smelling like shit and looking that way.
For all the coked up mornings of getting to bed at 8:00 a.m.
...I am still trapped in these clothes.

For all the acid-driven nights of hate
Smoking three packs of Marlboro's that way
For all those paranoid mornings of getting to bed at 8:00
...not one of these people here, knows.

For all the nights of strange drinking and waste
Consuming until I've forgotten the taste
Walking into doors and stumbling that way
...I am in repose.

I don't know me and that's the part I like least
All the things that defined me, are things I can't be.
For the sake of my love, my health, my sanity
For the sake of real peace and needing some sleep!
Not awaking to smell,
Wake unable to tell
Where I was, what I did?
What I broke, where I fell?
I don't need any of these, I don't care who you are
I won't re-live those dreams, that's all that they are.
