Mattie...dear Mattie. I feel so selfish sometimes when I get lonely. I tell myself that I have no right to feel that way, that someone in my position doesn't deserve to sit around feeling sorry for herself. But the truth is, we all experience pain on different levels and in different ways. There's nothing wrong with choosing to sit and pout for a while, as I have inwardly, for it seems no one wants to talk about it anymore.

But enough about me...I guess what I'm trying to say, in this case, is that you're not alone. While I'm sure no one will ever experience pain quite as the next one does, I assure you that you and more others than you will ever know are together in your loneliness.

If you ever, EVER need to talk about anything, never hesitate. I'm always here for you.
