Trapped and free'd so routinely
I'm out again and on the prowl.
I will find me another one tonight
No sweet flower escapes my glance as I glide through playground fences.
I will steal your babies and destroy the future.
Daylight keeps me penned in shame and I will stride at night
You cannot meet my needs with words and council.
I am the beast that will take more.

There it is,
I've watched all week from behind tinted windows
Eyes follow it down the street and start the engine.
Noisy muffler begins to vibrate and soothes my brain.
Settle down and procure sweet candy from a bag
Pull along side and cast my line, set the hook
I have my trophy
Back to my shelter to have my fix, have this peiece of god.
