Subject: in the garden of [mia]

sweeping downward from the stars,
the garden of [mia] becomes the point of focus,
brilliant colours varying in so many shades
one could be forever lost in it's beauty.
her flowers were arranged very naturally,
groomed so, as well.
i walked at her side down a stream
who weaves his way through the garden,
as to be able to see all, always.
neither [mia] nor i spoke
we knew one another's souls too well
to ever need words while together.
instead we sang in wordless melody,
the only way to accurately depict what needed to be said.
at late day, we bid our farewells,
as did the sun.
though once i feared our parting,
she broke into spoken word to explain,
"the moon above is mine as it is yours.
i see it the same from my garden as you do from afar."
knowing this i am calm,
and love doesn't feel so far away.
