When you walked away?
Maybe I wouldn't notice?
That my heart wouldn't break?

Why did you let me fall in love?
Wasn't our friendship good enough?
Why couldn't you be the strong one?
I loved you! You just wanted to be friends.

How long would you let it go?
Before you would have said "It's over!"
Was there ever a chance?
Any chance for love at all?

Where were you goin with this?
Did you even care that I didn't understand?
For one second did you think
How your rejection would hurt me?

Do you care that I am alone?
Does it matter that I can't sleep?
Eevery time I clse my eyes I think of you!
And the questions start again.

I used to write quite often in here. I have been away from writing for a while now. I have missed it very much. I see so much has changed in here. Is it even still called "The Fiercest Calm"? I do see some "faces" I know. BY, AngelInBound, P-Rock and more....It is good to "see" you all again. Please let me know what you think of my new poem...And if you get a chance to into the archives and take a look at my other work. I LOVE to hear what people think!
