This is, a work in progress, to say the least... It's really just a rough sketch... sorry.

Our Heavens

I don't want to be your heavens...
I only want to be in them.
I would I were your moon...
perhaps you could be my stars.
Then our nights together wouldn't always have to end...
and we could roam round this wild green world,
giving our soft dim shelter
to young lovers from places we've only read about...
We would always be in the same place then,
you wrapped softly around me in the dark...
I would pour the light you gave me back over you,
and you would see what love looks like.
