When midnight lurks
And it is so dark
You'll find yourself blind
Try to find your way through the blackened night
When your only friend that shadows
Can't be found within miles
You'll find yourself staring at the sky
Wondering if stars are more than science
And you'll bump into something
That can't be seen in day
You'll sing but it is too chancy to dance
And when you're voice is withered

Hoping someone special will hear you
But no one does
