He finished, "Just call out if you need me...I'm be here in a flash!" His eyes were full of light, hoping to bring a little optimism to the situation, though he knew that he couldn't.

He walked over to Revenge, staring him in the eye. He knew the stallion hadn't done anything wrong and he wasn't angry, he understood. "So..." He drew out his sentence, "When did all of this happen between you and Farligan?" He started to remember back when he had gone off to fight for the wolves and his daughter had followed along. Suddenly he couldn't understand how he had been so, so blind...
