"Firefly, go with my daughter, Farligan, and help her protect the foals!" He dodged the rope that swung for his neck, but he snare caught his back legs. He kicked out, trying to bite at the rope, but with no prevail. This was bad, he knew. They were out numbered and defenseless. He leaped forward, kicking out and snorting, until he hit something. It shattered when his hoof colided with it and the beam of light ceased. Then he could see the human. He reared and longed forward, grabbing the man by the should and throwing him through the air.
