A proud glint in his eye, "You're strong, son...you would have carried on; just like I'd wanted you to..." He nickered, "I won't be here forever, Malek...and you'll have your own family by then to take care of and you'll find that you won't need me as much as you feel like you do now." He knew Karri was gone and how much Malek missed her, like Valic missed Malek's mother, but he knew that his son would start a new life as well...
