He hesitated before he decided to satisfy the stallion's curiosity. "Wild Hearts... I am good friends with your father and have been for a long, long time...since before you were even born. I know your family and I know you come from an honorable background and I believe that you are an honorable stallion at heart." He looked past him to Farligan, seeing how happy she was with Revenge, "I understand that you love my daughter, but you've left her before, Hearts." He looked into his eyes, "She mourned you for longer than I can remember and I lost most of my respect for you at that point in time. You've broken her heart before and I'd love to say that you're through with her just so I couldn't see you break her heart again, but I can't do that. I could, but I won't." He gave a sigh, "You've broken my trust, Wild Hearts, and you've lost my respect I'm afraid." He paused, knowing how hard he was being on the other horse, but he had wanted to know the truth, "Tell me, Wild Hearts...can you promise me that if she does choose you that you will be forever loyal to her and never leave her behind again? Can you promise that you will never break her heart again?" His eyes were judgemental now, staring into the younger stallion's like a cold wind.
