Hey all...here's the scoop.
Auditions will be from 8-11 pm on tuesday jan 22 and from 8-9:30 on wed jan 23. Callbacks will be from 9:30 to 11 on the 23rd. The cast list will be mailed out by 12:30 pm. First rehearsal will be thursday the 24th. All auditions/initial rehearsal will be held in the t/w main lounge. Spread the word.

What to do for auditions:To date, I have handed out 26 copies of the 60(!) page script. The student center computer gurus have kindly asked me to stop printing them up. So what I'm doing now is handing out five page audition packets.

These packets contain four monologues:My angry vagina, my vagina was my village, the woman who loved to make vaginas happy, and reclaiming cunt. These four monologues contain the essential elements of the monologues. What you need to do for auditions is pick one of these four pieces and decide which one most represents your abilities and feelings. Once you've done that, experiment with your chosen monologue. Become familiar with it. Learn what it means to you. Don't, i repeat, don't memorize it. There is going to be no memorization(details to follow later). Just learn which of the four monologues best shows us what you can bring to the production.

Any questions? email me at elliott3@tcnj.edu. Call my x-7336, call my cell at 558-4147. IM me at BigGuyJLE. I'm available.

Good luck all. Keep in touch.

JLE
