Subject: Sunday, May 30

O.K., yesterday was NOT a good day. It was a struggle ALL day, and I finally gave in about 10:15 last night, went outside, and smoked one.

But today is a new day! I start again! I at least DID learn someting about yesterday....I cannot afford to worry about hurting ANYONE's feelings for a few days. I love them, they know it, but I simply cannot listen to any family arguments, feuds, or disputes for a while. They are all grown now, and will just have to give me space. I don't mean to hurt anyone, I just have to be selfish for a little bit to get through this. It's a LOT harder than I thought it would be.

Allison did her best to help me yesterday, riding with me while I did my shopping, the first time I've run more than one errand while driving without smokes. I appreciate the help.

I DID end up eating more than I should, but not toooo terribly, and if I stick to it the rest of the week, I should still lose at least a little.
