Still not quite smoke free, but needing less and less. It really is now down to "will power", the patch has been supplying enough nicotine for me to "get by".

I'm not exercising as I should; I've been sick with a sore throat and a low grade fever for a couple of days. At least, though, when you're sick, you don't eat as much, so that helps. Actually, I have to MAKE myself eat so I don't have to change my diabetes meds too much. I don't think my new gum will arrive before I run out of patches, but I will go buy a small package if necessary.

Keeping motivated for both weight control AND not smoking is tough, especially since I actually LIKE food, and truly ENJOY a smoke "once in a while". So far, I'm "hanging in there".
