I did not vote for clinton I did not agree with his stand on welfare . I still think it was stupid to put a mother to work at a minimum paying job then pay to have her children taken care of by another person . I do not agree with the dlc stand on trade issues such as Nafta that clinton signed into law and I did not agree with his giving our alaska oil to the far east .
It sure makes the income tax more difficult for srs with that silly worksheet to work thru each year . I would imagine when the boomers start retiring ( there ars so many of them so few of the silent generation i belong to ) that perhaps the law will be changed it was part of the balancing of the budget act that the rep and clinton did to start taking care of the deficet spending and get a surplus in the budget that bush single handidly blew and left us in the worse shape the country has ever been in financially among other things .
