The rustle of silk is heard as the Guardian stands from her reclining position on a couch -while reading a book of an unknown title- and looks down at the Katton kneeling before her. She shakes her head slightly, then raises the lady to her feet. "No need to kneel. While I may not be fully human, I'm not the Queen. I'm only a guardian." She winks at Veiki as she leads the Katton by the arm into another room. Ishna walks over to an oak table and proceeds in the making of a potion. When finished she smears some on the palm of her hand and walks back to the mother and child. Lifting up the child she smiles at her, Aqival, knowing what lies ahead for her. On the child's forhead she carefully traces two runes: perseverance and strength.
"Aqival, the savior of her people, her ladyship. You shall be famous, with your friends, the legendary trio. But you will go through many trials, and must always remember for every deed there is a reward or consequence. Allow your strength to sustain you, and rely only on those you know and trust. Your strength will save you, but when you have none left call on Fagh-beck'r (Fah(with a light g accent before the h)-bek-eer), the faithful one. Her strength and fire will help you." With that Ishna produces a sword, a sword of golden-coloured steel. Looking Veiki in the eye she says "This is Fagh-beck'r. Guard her and your child with all you have, but if it comes to your life or them call on me. I will help you. For this sword is magical, and holds in it the power of the sun. And your daughter is the one to wield. Be careful." With that she hands sword and child to Veiki. "One last thing. Never uses the sword. While it would perform for you, it is like it's own being, it even has a sense of humor. And it would revenge itself. Aqival is the only one in this time period who can wield her without disater." She smiles sadly. "This is a great responsability and danger for you, but I think you can manage."
