Well, about the dragon and melee'ing him/her. The dragon CAN, I repeat, CAN be melee'd to its death, !!BUT!! there are a few things you'll need. One, a fire ring staves fire shield. Two, Magic armor. Three, be a paladin or warrior. Four, a feather fall scroll(activate just before you strike). And five, a lot of melee skill. I have done this before and let me tell you, it is no easy task. It took me nearly 50 tries before my first victory, in single player mode. So... I don't suggest doing this UNLESS you plan on practicing melee in single player mode against it.
