Subject: sniper inclined tips...

i'm not really a melee person...mostly because i suck at melee and try to avoid it ;) so most tips i give can only be used for snipers, but some can be applied to every talent in lomm, including naders.

keep moving... you'll be harder to hit when on the run, and there's less chance that you'll have someone come up behind you. if your a sniper, try to know all the good positions on a map...try to keep moving and rotating through as many different positions as possible.you'll get different views of the area, if you shoot at someone and miss, they're less likely to find you.(if this situation does come up,try to find a new position facing where you were when you missed)

don't develop a pattern. if someone who dies see where you always go in what order it's highly likely that they'll bring in their bullyboys the next round and ambush you.

try to keep track of who's alive, and if you've played them before, their tactics(sniper, bomber, telenader, melee, backstaber, etc)

If your the last one on your team who's alive, it's probably a good idea to get up and go pick up a different profession(profession:directly attack the other team) people don't like campers;a slight understatement, but it will have to do.

if possible, take advantage of your enviroment. a place with lava and it would be a good idea to be on evil.leather is a choice armour in lava, the other sparkle or reflect. in a grassy place, a druid works well, again, leather and magic armour work well. a place with dirt? a paladin with leather works well. in a place with water, a sorceress(whatever) works, with no armour, but if you terribly must have it,use magic.

weapons of choice? anything that zooms really. if thats not a choice, then things with a straight instant shot. the archer has a nice zoom weapon, but it doesn't hit the target instantly, so you have to aim forward of your target. the wand of force(dubbed the "monkeypaw" by Duvvian) the lightning wand, and the sunray wand(one shot, one kill;my favorite)

try to avoid sniping positions(Any position, for that matter) that will block you in if you get attacked.

check out a position before you run dashing into your "secret little sniper-spot" other people, friend or foe, may already be waiting there. if foe, sneak up behind and melee them, if friend, check with them to see if it's ok if you sniper with them,or tell them that you'll keep watch while they snipe.

and lastly, scrolls.... i always have a teleport scroll on me and run as far from my base as i can...if i get attacked, i can tele and leave my attacker far behind. fire protection for those maps with lots of lava(or lava cracks). feather fall, usefull for maps with high ledges/cliffs/balcony's/anything you can fall off of. and a jump for the places that you have to jump to get to.

thats about all the advise i have right now for snipers. like i said, i really am not good at melee,so if someone with more talent in that area could help me out...that would be a great help.
