Nicola (Nezuu's player) is one of my really good friends. We've known each other since kindergarden, so of course when Nicola's parents decided to move three houses down from mine I was pretty happy.
The reason they decided to move was because Cola's mom had some sort of cancer and they wanted to be closer to her hospital so it would be easier to get treatments.
You know where this goes, right? Her mom died two years later in 1997. I won't give you the graphic details, but she had lung cancer and it just got out of control.
So she's been living with her dad for like, five years.
He goes out to dinner one night with some friends from work and Nicola decides to go to her boyfriend's brother's friend's dumb party thing. Her brother and his friend being 17; I was 13 and she was 14. Her boyfriend Bradley is 15. This was late 2000, I believe.
So they go to the party. I went along too because Nicola vehemently insisted that she wouldn't go unless I did. My parents were out at an opera. Convenient, hmm? My little sister Erin was having her first sleep over. Cola and I were supposed to be sleeping over at a girl named Kally's house; she came along too.
I get bored of the party. It really sucked. People guzzling ecstasy-laced punch and glass after glass of beer. Cola and I didn't have any, of course, but her boyfriend Bradley did.
So picture me, bored out of my mind. I leave around ten. I couldn't take any more of this nonsense. I go back home, let myself in, and study a little bit.
Nicola shows up at my house at about eleven. I was just about to finish up with the studying. She comes in through the back door sobbing hysterically.
I take her up to my room and ask her what happened. She told me that her boyfriend had gotten liquored up and tried to rape our friend Kally. Kally had gotten home okay, but Nicola had had problems. Her boyfriend was drunk and she couldn't leave him there. So she got his brother into his car and tried to get him to drive home. His brother hit a tree and passed out. Bradley the boyfriend was groping at her in the back seat. All in all, things weren't too good.
As it turns out they weren't too far from my house. She gets out of the car and runs in through the back door, and here we are.
So you can see how weird she gets around boys now. When she decided to play CM about a week ago she did it on my computer. Hers had a virus or something; all I know is that she started to play in the inlet on my laptop. She'd even take it to her house and play there. She joined as a few characters, but she wanted one to be like her. Nezuu, my friends.
Now, I know no one meant anything personal. It was IC. I know she wasn't supposed to take it seriously, but she did. And now she's extremely distraught. The other day, in fact, I saw her shelling out all of her money (I was at her house). I ask her what she was doing with that. She says that if she was going to go crying to her mother she ought to at least bring flowers to put at the grave. I ask her what she was talking about. She refused to answer and left. I'm assuming that had something to do with a character named Noah because most people at our school respect her mother's death. Most people don't know that she was nearly raped.
Once again, all that I know is that something weird happened with Nezuu and Noah. I don't know anything more than that. So, if I'm mistaken then tell me. I'm actually going to go right now and read the posts and try to find out where things went wrong.
