Hey I got this off the toasters site.

A note from Buck:

As some of you may or may not have heard yet,
Dave Karcich, formerly the drummer for Spring Heeled Jack and The Pilfers and currently the drummer for Avoid One Thing, suffered a brain aneurysm and has passed away.
Dave had been in a coma following a cerebral hemorrhage sustained last Tuesday. He was rushed to hospital but his condition was inoperable. The wake is today. The family asks well-wishers to contribute, in lieu of flowers, to the:

David Karcich Scholarship Fund
c/o Central High School
1 Lincoln Blvd.
Bridgeport, CT
06604

Dave was a great guy and a universally respected drummer. He sat in on gigs with the Toasters over the years and was always the "go-to-guy" in the
rolodex due to his versatility, his professional approach to the job and his "can-do" personality. Dave's style was straight ahead, whether on drums or in person. There was never any doubt where you stood with him. He always came ready to play and never complained about anything. To my mind he epitomized the positive attitude idealized in the music he loved to play. He will be missed.

Bucket
