Your links indicate nothing. The NHS has problems but that says nothing about whether there's a better service out there or how it compares to others.

You want to make this a debate between a liberal type health service v. your american free market model. I gave you a link that shows commie bastard countries like Norway or Finland have more doctors. Well Norway is also high on the ranking of the world's best HS. The US (as with the proportion of doctors) performs a lot worse at #37.

Here's another (more credible than yours) opinion taken from the link:

Canada’s health care is not perfect but at about 11% of GDP compared to the US at over 18%, better longevity(close to 3 years) and a lot fewer birth deaths. It seems simple decision with just those few stats “longer life, lower cost”
