Subject: Children and guns

I presume everyone has heard about the 5 year old who shot his sibling with a gun he'd been given. This gun is made for and marketed toward children.

My question - is 5 too young to have a gun?

This is not about an adult owning guns, it's about children.

Personally, I think 5 is too young but I'm open to hearing arguments to the contrary.
