The Germans had defeated the Russians by late 1917 and by early 1918 were able to transfer scores of divisions to the western front, where they finally had the numerical superiority for the first time. French and British morale was low. So what do you think the arrival of a million fresh Americans did for that morale? How about German morale? The Germans could have held the line indefinitely and wouldn't have gambled on Kaiserschlact in March of 1918. So I think that the war would have ended with a treaty sometime around 1919, leaving the German empire intact. And probably would have prevented the rise of a certain Austrian hobo. The Italian/Austria front was quite narrow and limited, mostly to the Alps. The Americans weren't even a real combat factor until summer of 1918.
