what ruling is that? Are you attempting to axe if I've read Edward's acquittal, or the plea bargain deal with Cohen? In either case, the answer is no. In Trump's case, he will not be indicted for any crime.

Unwittingly, FM, you've raised a very interesting question that I hadn't considered, quite frankly. As you probably don't know, there are two different types of campaign finance violations...civil or criminal. A civil violation is brought by the FEC, and a criminal violation is brought by the Justice Department. To the best of my knowledge, the only difference between the two is intent and aforethought. In other words, an intentional violation would be criminal, whereas anything unintentional would be civil. As I've taught you, the Supreme's have ruled that a sitting president can be sued civilly, as long as it's for something totally unrelated to the duties and responsibilities of the office. Could Trump be sued by the FEC for this contrived campaign finance violation? Well, in my opinion this is theoretically possible, but don't hold your breath waiting for it to happen.
