I have my viewpoint. I don't expect everybody to have it. I have no problem with the rational person who spends time thinking about their position. I have serious problems with people who give you a conclusion, and can't give a reason.

I have my ideas. You guys all have yours. This is not about me against you, I've met many people in my life with different ideas. We really enjoy hashing them out. Sometimes, we get a little warm. . ., it happened not long ago, at my daughters house, when their and our friends came to see us while we were there. We had a serious discussion about the real state of the economy. He, the visitor, insisted that the market (as though that were the be all and end all, but hell, he works for Fideltiy, and I guess he figures that) had not been above 8500 in weeks. This was around labor day. It had, around mid August, been over 9,000, but he's a democrat. That's what he wanted. It wasn't true, but that's what he argued.

If you go to the CNN money section to check the last 90 day market levels, and you can, you'll find I was right.

He and his wife, though not related to me by blood, are kind of my babies. Very good friends, know them since they were little, yada yada yada.

We had a blast this weekend. It really doesn't matter . . ideas are relative. They change. People are real. They don't change a lot. They might think differently after being presented with a set of circumstances, but the smiles, the love, the warmth, that doesn't change. And whatever their political persuasion, we always have a blast.
