Subject: NO MORE MONEY

The guys and gals in DC went home and left the unemployed with no money extension on unemployment benefits. This is serious here in my neck of the woods. All the companies have been chopping, are still chopping, with plans for more lay offs. My neighbor man has been laid off since early last year from one of the large companies. He now attends nursing school. My brother in law has been asked this week by the same large company....to justify his job there. He has worked there at least 25 years now. Bankrupsies are climbing, more homeless on the streets, food banks are being hit big time, and beggers are appearing in parking lots of stores and gas stations. Purse snatching is happening big time. All crimes will start increasing now.
A couple more free clinics have now opened.

UPDATE: Hubby had the lower back surgery in Sept. Well he will find out next week if the upper back has to be operated on. Granddaughter [we take care of] will find out in a few days if her jaws can be operated on. They usually do the surgery at age 17, but she is in so much pain and can hardly eat. As of Jan...Hubby will not receive anymore half pay, and our medical insurance stops. I don't think our new year will be Happy.

So I feel for these folks who cannot find a job and no money coming in.

I hope things are going good for my board friends. MJ
