Interesting problem. Propane is way more efficient than oil, but it is only has about 60% the energy. Oil is almost all energy, but the heating systems are only about 60% efficient. What's a person to do? Be able to afford high efficiency oil systems. Too bad!

I'm betting the wood is about 16% moisture, but it is used in highly inefficient systems.
