I think that what may (perhaps) work best is for me to attempt to create a narrative, leaving room here and there for R to inject a vignette/short story within the lacunae.

I'm revisiting the Nazis and fleshing out their dismissal from the immediate scene. I think after they reach their place of exile, a short exploration of their dealings with the dumfounded Peruvian natives might provide an opportunity for some lively comedy, which would really have nothing to do with the story, but would enliven and explain their presence in the story. It might be entitled "A Peruvian Reich, Or the Thousand Minute History of Hitler in Paradise."
