We have 11,000 unemployed here at the rate of 6%...according to the news yesterday. Does that include the ones still out job looking after the UE checks have ran out? I think not. Of course with college kids and high school kids filling the small jobs, the rate would reflect a lower UE rate for the area. So makes me wonder what the real UE rate for the area of full time jobs really is. The numbers are very misleading. Been talking to lots of folks locally last week and they all say their companies are not getting in jobs and are going under soon.
And on another note.....also read where the swooshing sound that went to Mexico of American jobs is now swooshing to Asia. Yep, the Mexicans started making a good wage and the companies can't have that. Have to go to Asia and pay a small token for the same work.
So now will we have more of an influx of Mexicans coming north?
How about the large companies and their breaking the laws lately? Sure doesn't make me love big business....how about you?
