Well thanks for the vote but I'm not running for anything. Just an old woman who see's pete repete here. I may be wrong in my thinking about the whole thing, but I think it stinks. I'm not a hawk wanting war and I'm not a dove totally against war.

The way I see it is....MY neighbor can have a Bradley tank in his back yard aimed at my house. So what? Thats his business until he climbs into that tank and fires into my house...THEN THAT MAKES IT MY BUSINESS.

Why is Saddam so bad? He gasses his own people? hummm well we may have brought down TWA flight 800, and then there is Ruby Ridge and Waco and Kent State and and and the list goes on. Dead is dead whether by gas, fire, or bullets.

Is Saddam worse than China or North Korea or Cuba or Russia or any other country? All have almost the same arms. Are they a threat? Sure any armed country is a threat....just step on their toes and find out.

Why should we send our men and women over to blast Saddams ass just on maybe's? I'm not supporting Saddam in the least or like the man. I believe he is evil to the core. But is he a worse threat than the leaders of Syria, Iran or even Saudi Arabia at the moment? I don't think so. I think they are about all neck and neck.

Will blasting Bagdad stop terrorists from hitting in St. Louis or Dallas or Chicago? No!!!!!!

I keep hearing we have to stop him because had someone stopped hitler. So okay....when Saddam shells Jordan or Israel....make a glass parking lot out of the whole damn country....BUT LET HIM MAKE THE FIRST MOVE.

What if Russia decides the USA is such a threat over the same reasons? We do have everything you can imagine in the store room. Any leader can say the same about any other leader of a armed nation.

But of course we have to have Glory, Greed, and a Legacy don't we? After all it isn't the wealthy who are cannon fodder is it?

Thanks dear friend for all the kind words. Hubby is too bad to work now. It is not easy to see a man in the mid 50's have to stop almost everything he loves to do. I think I'm bitter at the world and all the stupid things happening and I can't do a damn thing to change one bit of it.
