"You really think that if kids go to Catholic Schools they only get creation science???"

No, that's not what I'm saying at all. I just meant that if people had the choice to send their kids to religious schools, that maybe they'd stop trying to include religious instruction in the public school curriculum

"Perhaps the internet will be a part of education in the future. I feel sorry for the children if that happens. There is too much they will never learn."

You are right, but they at least will learn the basics, and won't have the public schools socializing them in some PC way, which you yourself have often lamented

I'm not in favor of "religion" in public schools, but I do favor discipline, and some training in right and wrong. Call it the golden rule if you like - I don't care.

I have no problem with discipline or ethical instruction

I'm more than afraid that we as a society have lost the ability to teach anybody right from wrong - by society's standards, not Gods, Budda's Jesus, Jehovah, or Mohammed.

Agreed, but I'd add that we seem to have lost any sense of compassion, or empathy also.
